Flavor Profile: Lively Citrus that reminds us of a Lemon Tart, Fig Jam, Dates and Brulee'd Sugar.

The Huadquinã cooperative is located in the Santa Teresa District in the greater Cusco Region (or Department).  Peru has seen many changes in its coffee production and export which has has resulted in a mixup in how many of these coops traditionally operated. 

The Cusco region specifically has seen major change since a large regional cooperative union disbanded in 2015, leaving a vacancy for farmers and coops to create new trade and production arrangements.  This lot specifically comes from the farms of Esteban Ramirez Perez, Juvenal Perez Cardenas,Nicolasa Perez Monteagudo and Santos Perez Sanchez.  It doesn't lack anything we have come to love about coffees from Peru and features Lively citrus up front with heavy sweetness to balance it out and notes of Fig Jam and Date.
